FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEAUG 19, 2009 Lancaster, PA – The Movers Review has set out to assist self-storage facilities throughout the nation by developing a Move-In / Move-Out™ program. The program allows self-storage clients to streamline the task of moving into or out of storage both locally or long distance.
Using the latest technology available the Founder spent two years in research and development to build an online platform that would provide self-storage facilities a way to compete with mobile storage and moving industries *(eg: PODS® -1800PACKRATsm - Door to Doorsm - SmartMove®). He wanted to insure that consumers could visit one (1) website that would give them everything they needed to make an educated decision. He then took it a few steps further by adding the ability, through the company’s website, to book free in-home estimates, book services directly with selected mover(s), create/manage/update online accounts, and manage all move related paperwork/documentation.
The Move-In / Move-Out™ program was designed to assist self-storage clients with their local or long distance moving requirements. For about the same cost of a delivered mobile storage container this program provides movers that will move you into or out of storage. There are benefits to utilizing traditional self-storage facilities wherein you have 24/7 access to your storage unit without paying an access fee or scheduling dates/times to get to your belongings.
The Movers Review is an online moving services company with headquarters conveniently located just outside of Philadelphia. The company was established in 2008 and started as a part-time project for its founder. It now operates with more than 1,400 rated and reviewed movers nationally and services an average of 40+ moves on a daily basis. There is one benefit that the Founder did not foresee while developing the site. With the number of movers and the volume generated from the site it created a competitive marketplace as movers who have been rated & reviewed are constantly updating their profiles to price match other movers in their area and maximize their bookings within the website. Not only has the site achieved what was intended, but it reached further than expected by saving consumers both time and money on their move.
Currently with 13 employees the company can handle in upwards of 2,000 moves per month thanks to the automation designed by our programmers. Within most moving companies it would take 40 or more employees to handle such a work load. Move coordinators and operational teams are trained to handle every detail related to each consumer’s move. By providing these teams we give the support needed during what is said to be one of the most stressful times in anyone’s life - Moving Day.

Self Moving - Self Service Moving - Moving Myself - Self Move - Truck Rental - Moving Labor
In todays economy more and more consumers are turning to do-it-yourself moving options to keep costs down.
Now, I'd like to discuss a few of these options
Truck Rental:
If you are looking to save money on your move, this is the option that alot of consumers take thinking they'll be able to get the "Cheapest" move. Although costing less than a Van Line or Full Service company it is not the least expensive option out there today. Take the rising cost in fuel, the cost of food/hotels, and don't forget the added cost of your time.
There are options to choose from - There are a few companies that we have done business with in the past - Many will give you discounts and some will guarantee the lowest price - Be sure to get a few quotes to ensure you're getting the best deal.
Penske Truck
Budget Truck
Enterprise Truck Rental
Ryder Truck Rental
Truck & Driver:
This is an option that alot of consumers are NOT aware of. Since the economy started to fall more and more freight companies have started hauling household good shipments. This option in most cases is less expensive then renting a truck when you add everything involved. The company provides the space needed, the driver, and the fuel. Be sure to compare the companies below to the truck rental quotes you get above.
Bonhomme Logistics
UPack
Broadway Express
Movex (Pricing is higher than others above - My Opinion!)
Containerized Moving:
There are a rising number of companies that provide this very unique service. Somewhere between the cost of a Truck Rental and a Full Service Van Line you can have a container dropped at your home and then moved to your new home. In most cases the move includes up to (30) days of storage.
This option although a bit more than both options above does reduce the risk of claims to your household items. Packing a container tight is much easier than packing a truck or trailer.
PODS
doortodoor
1800PackRat
MobileAttic
Packing, Loading, and/or Unloading Services:
If you're trying to save money on your move but don't want to break your back, visit us at The Movers Review. Our website provides "Movers History Reports(sm)" that will allow anyone to select the best mover based on ratings/reviews from neighbors, pricing, licensed/insured, references, and so much more...
Utilize any of the services above to save money on your next move!
